What is SIA ACS?
SIA ACS stands for The Security Industry Authority’s Approved Contractor Scheme. It was introduced as a voluntary scheme to raise standards across the industry, this accreditation is recognised as the benchmark for quality.
ACS companies are rigorously assessed against 78 performance indicators across seven essential criteria.
The ACS is also a progressive quality standard, meaning that the standards that companies must meet to be approved are continuously raised.
The Benefits of Choosing ACS
Approved Contractors
There are many benefits to choosing an ACS approved security company:
As you can see, when you choose an ACS accredited company, you’re choosing quality, reliability and flexibility.
These three characteristics are essential – if you base your decision on cost and go with the cheapest option rather than the best one, this could leave your business at risk. Your business assets and staff safety will be in the hands of your security company, so you’ll want to choose a company you trust.
Approved contractors score their performance against the ACS standard every year – this score is calculated against 78 achievement indicators covering topics such as staff training, financial management and the company’s health and safety policies.
At Accolade, we will work with you to assess your security needs and provide the best solution for your business.
